Get involved
There are many different ways you can get involved and be part of the Year For God programme
- Apply and take part in a year. Obviously we want to see lots of people take part in the programme to fulfil the commission, but it’s not something to be entered into lightly and not right for everyone so we encourage you to pray about it, seek advice and get whatever information you need from us. You can go to our “How to apply” page to find out more about the application process and download application forms.
- Come to an enquiry day. We run enquiry days here at Holmsted each year for people interested in YFG so that we can answer questions and give a more personal view of the programme. Email or call us for more details.
- Pray for us! We can sometimes attempt to do a lot of things in our own strength but we believe that without seeking God to direct us in all things they do not have lasting significance.
- Tell someone else about us! It may be that YFG is not for you but you know someone else who it would suit perfectly. We’d be happy to send you information on the programme to pass on.
- Invite us to speak at your church/youth group/Christian Union. Once we have recieved your application, we would love to share what God is doing through the people who participate in YFG and other training and missions work YWAM England is involved in. This can be a time of real encouragement as real people tell real stories of God at work in the world. We do want to create a relationship with your church and be able to ignite a passion for missions in your church for the short and long term.
- Promotional Stuff. We can give you posters and flyers for your church or people who want to know more of what you are thinking of doing, just give us an address to send to.
